30 something. I love animals, crafting, and of course writing, which I'm choosing to focus on at this point in my life.
As an aside, I love that neocities has come along. I feel it's sorely needed with the absolute state of the internet now. And it's been fun re-learning all the HTML I forgot from the days of myspace, Geocities, Angelfire, etc.
When I was a child, then teen, I loved to read, but I also loved to write. But I wanted things. Silly things I don't have anymore, but things that cost money. And then, right in the middle of college, in the midst of books and English classes I flourished in, I wanted to be on my own. Wanted an apartment. That was a mistake. Stay with your parents if you can, as long as you can, in your youth, and in this economy.
But now, perhaps I can have what I wanted? I'm a very honest person (I don't do pretense) I'm very tired, and a bit sick. I hope I can have what I want, which is just to write. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't.
